A little more about Assemblyman
Aizley:
Assemblyman Aizley grew up in Boston, graduated from Harvard University in 1957 and definitely prefers
the Nevada
desert to the cold and bustle of the northeast. In fact, he often says that he can’t
even enjoy the views in New England because “all
those trees are in the way.”
He came to Las Vegas (and to UNLV) in 1968 from Arizona and has degrees
from both University
of Arizona (MS 1959) and Arizona State (PhD 1969). Assemblyman Aizley is
proud to say that he has been in all 50 states and roughly 34 foreign
countries.
Today, Aizley and his wife Sari have
five grown children (including step-children), ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
His hobbies include foreign travel, hiking, cooking, movies and live theatre.
