Assemblywoman Sheila Leslie PDF Print E-mail

leslie_2007Majority Whip

Washoe County

District # 27

Specialty Courts Coordinator

Assemblywoman Leslie was first elected in 1998. She is the Majority Whip.  She was the Vice-Chair of the Ways and Means Committee during the 75th legislative session. Additionally, she served on the Taxation Committee and the Health and Human Services Committee.

Assemblywoman Leslie represents Assembly District 27 in Reno. The district encompasses downtown and “old” Southwest Reno including the Virginia Lake and Idlewild Park areas.

Because of term limits, Assemblywoman Leslie will be leaving the Assembly at the end of this term. Her commitment to improving the quality of health care and essential human services available to all Nevadans, will be sorely missed.
