Debbie Smith Web2Assemblywoman Debbie Smith is the Speaker Pro Tempore of the Assembly.  She was first elected in 2000, representing Assembly District 30, in Washoe County. Debbie chairs the Ways and Means Committee and serves on the Health and Human Services and Elections Committees.

Hobbies/Special Interests:  Reading, walking, scrapbooking

Debbie Smith is a 29-year resident of Assembly District 30. Debbie is married to Greg Smith. Together they have three children; Olivia, Ian and Erin and two granddaughters, Emma and Aanika. She and Greg raised their children in Sparks and have always been active in the community as coaches and school volunteers. Debbie served as President of the Nevada Parent Teacher Association and continues to work with many local school and charitable organizations.
